Fun little weekend

It's amazing how quick the weekend flies by.

1) enjoyed walking at the outdoor mall in Arkansas.
2) being a kid (with the kids) in a candy store- wax candy, sour strips, and root beer jelly beans.
2) ate at On the Border (with leftovers for tomorrow, yeah!)
3) found out Carter's new love....Elmo :) and listened to him scream out loud with delight in Walmart.
4) watched Jerry chase an armadillo....which was absolutely hilarious.
5) had to laugh when Carter started grunting before bath time and just about pooped on mommy but instead he just hit the floor.

Now we're home and wrapping up to start the day tomorrow...and hopefully this storm passes soon.

Wow....it's been a long time.

And I can't even remember what's happened the last few months. LOL It must be a sign of my old age.

In February, I went on another cruise. This time to the Mexican Riveria - Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, & Cabo San Lucas. It was amazing, beautiful, and I didn't want to come back. Actually right now, I would LOVE to be back there.

Then later in May, Tiffany & I took the kiddos out to California for a long weekend getaway. We all had a great time - just wished the ocean was a tad bit warmer.

Now the biggest thing happening in my life is preparing for the new baby coming in December. After coming back from California thinking I had food poisoning, I found out that I was in fact pregnant. Surprise surprise! Now if I could just catch up with getting all the new baby supplies ready plus juggling two big kiddos, things would be great. Somehow I'm doubting that happens though. Anyways, little guy is expected here by December 22 but I'm hoping he decides to make an early entry into the world rather than delaying it like Kalli & Dylan.

Is it really only 6 days until Christmas???

I cannot believe this Christmas has snuck up so quick on me this year. I barely have anything bought and I’m not sure what to buy even when I go.

I am glad we’ve not gotten all the snow that Virginia and the Carolinas are getting right now – that sounds COLD! The temps are staying pretty cold here but *thankfully* we’ve not gotten ice or a huge accumulation of snow.

The kids are hyped up about Christmas. It’s crazy how kids grow up. Kalli is now my child asking for clothes and music. Dylan on the other hand – is all about video games, legos, & Knex. Hopefully Santa can find them something they’ll love. :)

And now on to our Christmas decorating…..

Booth decor….

Man, so much has been going on – but rather than go into all those details now….I’d rather show some fun photos for the stuff I’ve put together for my craft/antique/stuff booth up at Vendor’s Mart. It’s my first try at something like this so hopefully it goes over well.

Man I’m exhausted…

I really guess my body is totally out of whack. I woke up this morning feeling rested and ready to tackle the day but just about noon I felt my body drooping. Now I can barely keep my eyes open long enough to type.

The kids had a pretty quiet Halloween. Neither one of them were really into the dressing up this year but Kalli did just because of the Halloween party she was invited to. We made it to maybe 5-6 houses and they were done. I will have to say though – the best Trick or Treating was us all getting free black jack tacos from Taco Bell (oh how we lead such an exciting life).

Tomorrow I’m going to be calling in to the doctor. I got a letter Friday stating that my blood test suggested that I had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Kind of weird but it does ring true to the symptoms I’ve had lately (most of which I just shrugged off). The letter says to follow up with my next appointment but me being the worry wart that I am, I want to get in there before December. We’ll see how that goes though. Hopefully it’s nothing serious and a little bit of meds will put my hormone levels back in sync.
